Much like a double knit, duo fold involves knitting together two layers of fabric. Duo fold differs in that it leaves space between the fabric by using periodic double knits opening up the possibility of bubbly textured surfaces and even jacquard like design. The spaces between act as air pockets giving it an insulative advantage over a regular double knit.
