Canvas is a tight, plain-woven fabric, made from 100% cotton or cotton/polyester blends ranging between 7 and 14 ounces per square yard, making it well suited for crafting, tote bags, upholstery and home applications, as well as heavier apparel application like jackets and other outerwear.
