A thin, sheer plain-woven material traditionally made from silk. Contemporary organza is often made from synthetics and blends such as polyester and nylon and are available in a variety of finishes and textures. Mirror organza, for instance features a shiny reflective surface. Organza is a staple in bridal, evening wear, couture as well as home decor.
