Flannel

Flannel is a plain-woven fabric known for its softness, comfort, and warmth, characterized by its brushed surface through a process called "napping" which causes fibers to raise from the surface forming a soft, plush texture. Traditionally made from wool, modern flannel is commonly made from 100% cotton or cotton-synthetic blends. Its warmth and versatility make it well suited for autumn and winter apparel, either as the body of the garment or as a lining.
