Velour

Velour is a soft, plush knitted material with a short, dense pile and subtle sheen. Often made from cotton, polyester or other synthetics, sometimes with spandex to enhance recovery and stretch. Often confused for velvet or velveteen due to the texture, what characterizes velour apart is the fact it is knit rather than woven making it more flexible and comfortable to wear.
