Vinyl, short for polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is a synthetic material that comes in many shapes and forms. Often used as a leather alternative, it is well suited for outdoor upholstery applications due to its colorfastness, UV resistance, and water resistance. Vinyl is ideal for boat cushions, patio cushions, barstools, and is available in a range of colors and finishes from matte to glossy, smooth and faux animal grain.
